Allison Abilheira Nominated for Superlawyers for the Fourth Consecutive Year!
Abilheira Law is proud to announce that attorney Allison C. Abilheira has been selected as one of the 2020 Superlawyers Rising Stars for Rhode Island in the practice area of Criminal Defense. This is the fourth consecutive year that Attorney Abilheira has been chosen for this prestigious award!
Rising Star nominees are subjected to a competitive selection process. In fact, only 2.5% of the lawyers in each state secure this esteemed award. In order to be considered for the Superlawyers Rising Star award, lawyers have to be nominated by a peer. Once nominated, the Superlawyers publication evaluates each lawyer based on twelve indicators of their professional achievement including experience in their respective field, education and other honors and awards. As the selection process continues, the top candidates in each practice area conduct a peer evaluation of the remaining candidates based on a five (5) point rating scale. Finally, the candidates with the highest point totals from each category are selected as Superlawyers Rising Stars.
